When we heard that our friends at EQPD, a small business located in our town of Twisp, are raising funds to turn their re-usable bag making factory into a mask producing facility, we knew we wanted to help in whatever way we could.
EQPD is currently sitting unused - closed because of the COVID-19 crisis. We want to help change that. Governor Inslee is calling on all capable businesses to step-up and help manufacture Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). With their facility and staff, they have the equipment, design expertise, and skilled technicians required to begin making masks immediately. They are trying to raise $25,000 to make 10,000 masks and they are almost there.
This week only: for every bag of Roaster's Choice Great Valley sold, we will donate $1 to help EQPD make masks for local healthcare workers and other community members in need.
Because we're all in this together.
